CLIB²⁰²¹ promotes cooperation between industry and academia and organizes the technology transfer from academia to SMEs and industry, in a targeted approach.

Research institutes form the academic basis for research projects at CLIB²⁰²¹ – with an involvement of internationally recognized universities and research centers for biotechnology, microbiology, chemistry, process engineering and materials and applied science. This unprecedented scope of cooperation between large-scale industry, SMEs and academia made CLIB²⁰²¹ the winner of BioIndustrie 2021.
